Borusan Kindergarten

Learning is a lifelong process, and the kindergarten stage is crucial for children's social development. It marks their first experience in adapting to new environments, building relationships, and recognizing individual differences. Each child’s adaptation varies, affecting how they experience time and structure in their daily lives.

Borusan Kindergarten

The proposed kindergarten in an industrial area must integrate physically with its surroundings while serving various age groups and providing a flexible environment for both children and teachers. Its design should include a courtyard and educational units that open into this space.

The kindergarten features an open play area and a mega ramp that accommodates the site’s natural slope, ensuring a safe, continuous outdoor play environment. This ramp creates a unified courtyard, while the attached units rise in a hierarchical manner, promoting safety and interaction.

The building's facade limits permeability, maintaining privacy while fostering engagement. Its steel structure allows for flexible spatial arrangements. Sustainability principles guide the design, emphasizing socio-cultural continuity and ecological practices. This approach aims to create a self-sufficient environment that teaches children the importance of ecology.

The "Adıyaman Kindergarten and Daycare" prioritizes ecological and social considerations, ensuring high functionality and promoting an organic social experience for children through its thoughtful design.
